GRAYL GeoPress One-Way Valve

The GRAYL One-Way Valve is a practical accessory for GRAYL bottle users who want to quickly replenish minerals and taste after water filtration. After filtering the water, you can add electrolytes or drink mix to the clean water, and the valve prevents backflow of liquid through the cartridge, thus helping to maintain the integrity of the filtration system. There are two versions of the valve depending on the bottle model: for GeoPress with six "duck bill" valves and for UltraPress with four "duck bill" valves. The valve can be easily removed and regularly cleaned to eliminate odors and powder residues. Recommended drying: squeeze excess water from the wet cartridge by pressing into an empty (waterless) outer cup, discard the excess, remove the valve, and let both the cartridge and valve dry thoroughly (typically 2-4 days depending on humidity). The valve can be hand-washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher; do not expose the cartridge to soap or cleaning agents.
