The map is made of natural wood, precisely laser-cut and hand-finished so that all the important borders, cities and natural formations stand out. Each piece is the result of honest work and love for detail. The wooden map of Ukraine is suitable for the home, office and as a gift that has real value. All map variations feature a precision laser-cut and hand-glued wood panels for an outstanding quality experience. Region borders, roads, names and cities are nicely engraved (where space permits). Regions are stained to 4 different colours with natural wood stains. Map Installation Wooden country maps come in one piece (editions larger than approx. 100 cm consist of one or more pieces). Glue (like a construction adhesive), strong double-sided adhesive tape (included in the package) or other mounting solution (like framing mounts, screws, etc.) can be used to install the map on a wall. Different surfaces might require different mounting solutions. Contact us for details should you have any questions. Delivery Instructions Our wooden and moss maps are sensitive to rough handling. Due to their weight and size, the wooden pieces are quality packed suitable for international transport via a courier company. From time-to-time damage may occur during transport. Therefore, you should inspect your package upon delivery and if there is any damage to the outside packaging, record that on the spot with the delivery driver (preferably also taking detailed photos or just decline delivery). Evidence of damage has to be sent to the shipping company and ourselves within 24 hours of delivery.
